Forever SnS Virtual Market

Local discoveries. Independent businesses. A market worth exploring.

Discover sellers, browse their shop windows and visit their own websites to buy directly.

Our current plans

A local market, wherever you are

We’re planning an advertising and discovery platform for independent businesses, combining the atmosphere of a market with the convenience of browsing online. Sellers keep their own checkout and customer relationships; we help people discover what they offer.

Help us spread the word

Know someone who would love to browse or run a virtual stall? Share our plans with a ready-written invitation to register interest. Sign in before sharing to include your personal referral link.

Share with friends

A look ahead, not a finished marketplace. These are our current proposals. Features, pricing, locations and launch dates are still being developed. The images show illustrative businesses, products and prices; the destination map is artistic rather than geographically exact. Registering interest does not reserve a stall or take a payment.

Discover locally

Explore businesses from your chosen city. Our long-term ambition is a national network of local markets, with a broad variety of crafts in each area.

Choose your destination

Start at Forever SnS National Markets, then choose a new destination to explore a city market such as Manchester.

Buy directly

Each product links to the seller’s own website. They handle payment, delivery and returns. We take no commission on sales.

The market experience

From a destination to a discovery

01 · Choose your destination

Use the map to move between markets and discover businesses in the area you want to support. The National Market is the starting point, with local destinations offering their own mix of stalls.

02 · Explore the market square

We envisage a 2D market layout with raised stall previews. Hover on a computer, or tap on a phone, to reveal six products selected by the seller for their shop window. Open a stall to discover more.

03 · Step inside a stall

A full product stall will show its catalogue with images, descriptions and prices. Each buy button will take you to that exact product on the seller’s website to complete your purchase.

Seasonal shop windows

Sellers will be able to schedule themed items for specific dates. Halloween products, for example, could fill the shop window and appear first within the stall during their chosen Halloween period.

A clear handover

You’ll know when you’re leaving the market to visit a seller. Purchases, order queries, delivery and returns remain with that business on its own website.

Proposed monthly pricing

Clear pricing, with a clear purpose

An affordable way to help more people discover your business, without a commission on each sale. We want to be transparent about what the fees support.

Local product stall

£15 / month

Your local market spot, product catalogue, six shop-window items and planned seasonal display tools.

£10 from each subscription is allocated to shared marketplace advertising through social media and other marketing. The remaining £5 helps support hosting, maintenance and the tools behind your stall.

Add the National Market

+£5 / month

Add your product stall to the main National Market as well as your local market: £20 per month in total.

Ratings will help determine positioning. The detailed placement system is still being developed, and other stalls selling the same craft may also appear.

Advertising-only space

£10 / month

Promote your business and link to your website without a product catalogue or the management tools of a full stall. Ideal for businesses such as local coffee shops.

A simpler listing involves less upkeep than a full product storefront, reflected in its price.

Advertising contributions promote the shared marketplace; they do not promise individual advertising placements, equal traffic or guaranteed sales. Final pricing and any applicable taxes will be confirmed before subscribing.

Something to look forward to

Seasonal markets & special events

Choose the events that suit you

We plan to host events throughout the year. Stallholders can opt in by applying for a space; a regular stall does not automatically reserve an event place.

Extra costs, explained upfront

Some events may involve additional advertising or running costs. Any extra fee will be explained before you commit, with the aim of keeping it low and covering the extra costs we incur.

Our proposed Honest Market policy

Trust built on genuine experiences

We want clear marketplace rules, genuine feedback and fair decisions. One poor review should not automatically cost someone their stall, and a dispute alone does not prove a review is false.

Evidence behind reviews

Reviews will require a receipt and order number from the seller’s store, submitted privately for verification rather than displayed publicly. We plan to collect only the evidence needed to assess the purchase.

A fair dispute process

A disputed review will be temporarily hidden while we assess the evidence. We may ask the seller or reviewer for more information before deciding. Reviews found genuine will be restored; fabricated reviews will be removed.

Time to build a reputation

New stalls will have an introductory probation period while they build feedback. We’re considering a 3.8 out of 5 standard once a stall has more than 30 reviews. Falling below it would trigger a review and an opportunity to improve, rather than automatic removal.

Honesty on both sides

Proven fabricated reviews and deliberately dishonest seller reports can result in marketplace bans. Repeat abuse may lead to additional prevention measures. Serious breaches, including scams, will be handled separately from ordinary rating concerns.

Detailed listing rules, evidence handling, review procedures and membership terms will be published before the market opens.

Try a month

Monthly membership, without a long-term commitment

No minimum term

The plan is a monthly subscription. Cancel before your next renewal to stop future charges.

Keep your paid time

Your stall stays visible and your dashboard remains available until the end of your paid month, giving you time to save any available statistics.

A clear end date

When your paid term ends, your listing is removed from the market. Planned statistics cover visits and clicks through to your website, not sales made through your own checkout.

Future ideas we’re exploring

Bring your pet along for the adventure

A little companion for new discoveries

Further ahead, we’d love your Forever SnS profile pet to explore with you. Visiting different locations and spending time discovering their stalls could help your companion gain experience and level up.

We’re exploring market passports, destination stamps and pet accessories, with no purchase needed to take part. The aim is to encourage curiosity and introduce people to markets they might otherwise miss.

Ordinary browsing would remain available without the game. We would aim to reward meaningful exploration rather than idle tabs, and report pet-related exploration separately from seller click-throughs so businesses can understand their results.

A future ambition, not a feature promised for the initial launch.

Help shape the market

Be part of the plans

Shoppers, stallholders, or a little of both — we’d love to hear from you. Tell us where you’re based, what you’d like to see or sell, and which parts of the plans interest you most.

Registering is free and does not book a stall or commit you to a purchase.
