You stay in control of your profile. You choose what information is added and, importantly, what information other people are allowed to see when the QR code is scanned. Your medical details are not simply displayed publicly. The information can only be accessed through the QR code on your keychain, and the person scanning it will only see the details that you have chosen to make visible. You can also update your Medical ID profile whenever your information changes, meaning you can keep important details current without needing to replace the physical keychain. The keychain is laser engraved, giving it a permanent finish that will not peel or rub away like a sticker or printed design.
